Saturday was a busy day for SK art! In Hobart, eighteen of our artists displayed 21 works of art at Mural on Main’s annual student exhibit! Congratulations Kody, Emma, Riley, Andrew, Jayda, Devon, Athena, Vivian, Lily, Brianna, Shae, Aurelia, Alyssa, Adrianna, Zahara, Braeden, Zariah and Paxton!! Thank you to retired SK art teacher, Bob Korba, for attending the exhibit! And to current art teacher, Solveig Comer, thank you for bringing these opportunities to our students!!

Saturday was a busy day for SK art! In Cooperstown, three of our artists had their art exhibited in the Fenimore Museum’s Young At Art exhibit! Congratulations Kaitlyn, Emma and Kiersten!!

On Thursday we celebrated the academic success of our students with an ice cream social! We celebrated Strive for Five (improving average by at least 5 points over the quarter), Persistence Pays Off (continued effort and persistence in classes) and Honor, High Honor and Superintendent’s List! 68% of our students in grades 5-12 are on Honor, High Honor or Superintendent’s List!! A total of 146 students were honored!! 💙











And they are off! Have a wonderful Senior Trip!

Mrs. LiCalzi’s 5th grade Family and Consumer Science class held a bake sale to raise money for the Heart of the Catskills animal shelter. Their goal was to raise $200 and they made just over that! Amazing!!
Special shout-out to Junior, Jackson Hudson, who heard they were $20 from their goal and donated the $20 to make sure they got there!! You rock, Jackson!!!

Congratulations Brooke and Carter who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society tonight due to their excellent academic performance at OAOC. Brooke attends Health Occupations and Carter attends the Information Technologies program! Congratulations!!
